The Senior FP&A Analyst will leverage their deep technical expertise to lead complex financial analysis projects, develop advanced financial models, and provide strategic insights to support decision-making processes. This role is ideal for a highly skilled analyst with extensive experience in financial planning and analysis who prefers to focus on technical excellence rather than management responsibilities. This position will work closely with senior leadership to provide deep insights into financial performance, trends, and business strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Analysis: Lead in-depth financial analysis to support strategic initiatives and business decisions.  
  • Financial Modeling: Develop, maintain, and enhance complex financial models to forecast business performance and evaluate potential scenarios.  
  • Reporting: Prepare and present detailed financial reports, including variance analysis, to senior management.  
  • Reporting:  Assist in the preparation of detailed financial reports for senior management and executive leadership.  
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the preparation and review of annual budgets and periodic forecasts, ensuring accuracy and alignment with business objectives.  
  • Data Analysis: Analyze large datasets to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, and provide actionable insights.  
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather necessary information and ensure alignment on financial goals and strategies.  
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the FP&A function.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or relevant certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) preferred.  
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis, financial modeling, or a related field.  
  • Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in all Microsoft products and financial modeling; experience with financial software (e.g., Planful) and data visualization techniques and tools is required.  
  • Analytical Skills: Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.  
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely, especially to non-financial stakeholders.  
  • Team Player: Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.  
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
