Duties and Responsibilities:
- The Merchant Onboarding Specialist will be responsible for assisting new partners through the onboarding process, vetting of new merchants, collaborating with leadership on final decision-making, ongoing support, resolving issues
- Build and maintain strong and effective relationships with customers, stakeholders, internal teams, and KHI Leadership to secure compliance with schedules, resolve problems, and coordinate tasks to ensure successful merchant management
- Provide ongoing merchant account support, resolving onboarding issues, agreements, processing rates, operational agreement clarifications/questions, and advocating for published discounts
- Help ensure merchants provide ongoing information that is required for program compliance
- Responsible for understanding the KHI aviation payments ecosystem for complete support and industry knowledge
- Perform to the expected SLAs of Merchant Onboarding
- Identify and pursue new merchants for the KHI Global Network growth
- Report on merchant network growth and churn
- Partner with internal compliance teams when necessary for complex onboarding situations
- Escalate concerns to leadership when necessary for mediation and assistance
Qualifications:
- Must have at least 1-2 years of relevant account management/customer success/merchant onboarding experience with a successful delivery/achievement record
- Must have strong decision-making, judgment, and analytical skills
- Must have proven client engagement management and relationship-building experience
- Must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Possible limited travel
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Experience mitigating complex challenges with outcomes beneficial to stakeholders
