About Keynote Speaker: Shukuru Habimana is a Kansas City entreprenuer and activist who arrived in the U.S. from a Ugandan refugee settlement in 2016. Overcoming language and cultural barriers, he graduated from East High School and earned a degree from Metropolitan Community College in 2024. He currently balances his roles as a civil rights activist and evangelist with managing SBH Moving Helper LLC, a business focused on helping families and those in need in his community.
