This year we will be celebrating 25 years of Welcoming and Belonging at the POWER of Diversity Luncheon. This event is the premier celebration of the Kansas City region's culturally diverse business community and a call to continue building a stronger, more competitive, and more welcoming future. For a quarter century, this event has brought together business, civic, and community leaders to recognize those who are creating opportunities, advancing inclusion, and helping ensure that every individual has a chance to succeed.

As the KC Chamber advances its commitment through the lens of Welcoming & Belonging, this milestone event serves as both a celebration of progress and a reminder that our region's future depends on our ability to attract, retain, and empower talent from every background. This year's keynote speaker, Bob Kendrick, President and CEO of the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum, embodies the spirit of this mission. Through his powerful storytelling and passionate advocacy, Kendrick brings history to life while challenging audiences to recognize the transformative impact of perseverance, opportunity, and belonging.

The luncheon will feature the presentation of Ace Awards recognizing outstanding mid-to-senior level diverse workforce leaders and Champion of Diversity Awards honoring companies and nonprofit organizations that demonstrate a sustained commitment to inclusive workplace practices, leadership, and community engagement.
