Disability inclusion is more than a policy—it’s a day-to-day practice that shapes culture, strengthens teams, and fuels innovation. This four-part, highly interactive series, presented by the Center for Disability Inclusion (CDI) in partnership with the Greater Kansas City Chamber of Commerce, provides practical, step-by-step tools for building workplaces where people can thrive.
In this third session, participants will engage in digital, game-based activities and table-level discussions. They will actively confront myths—including those surrounding men and mental health—and learn how stigma can be dismantled. Storytelling elements bring real experiences to life, fostering empathy and deeper connection.
This highly interactive workshop helps professionals better understand mental health challenges while exploring how language and actions shape workplace culture. Attendees will leave with simple, powerful tools to reduce bias, strengthen inclusion, and promote a culture where all employees feel seen, valued, and supported.
