As neighbors in Westwood, KU Cancer Center and Woodside share a mission to champion health and healing. This event is our way of doing more, of turning community into collective action.

THE RIDE

SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 13 | 9AM – 2PM | WOODSIDE

Woodside and The University of Kansas Cancer Center are teaming up once again for a powerful day of purpose, energy and community. Cycle for the Cure isn’t just a ride, it’s a movement. This fall, we’ll come together on the Woodside Pool Deck for a one-of-a-kind experience that blends wellness, celebration and impact in support of KU Cancer Center’s life-changing work.

This immersive, outdoor cycling event welcomes members, guests, patients, survivors, friends and neighbors for a ride unlike any other, set to live music, motivating instructors and breathtaking performances by Quixotic. Expect high vibes, big heart and a chance to do something meaningful alongside hundreds of fellow riders.

Whether you ride solo or with a team, for 20 minutes or all four sessions, every pedal stroke moves us closer to a future free of cancer. Pop-up massages from The Spa, craft brunch cocktails from The Bar and fresh bites from The Kitchen add comfort and celebration to the cause.

HOW IT WORKS

• Reserve a bike as an individual or as part of a team
• Ride for one or more 45-minute sessions, every hour on the hour
• Raise funds and awareness in the lead-up to the event
• Hear from physician advocates and cancer survivors between sessions
• Cheer squads welcome, spectators bring the energy
